When possible, the filter is isolated from high engine temperatures by a heat shield designed to lower the temperature of air entering the engine. This cooler air is denser, resulting in more powerful combustion and increased horsepower. Feeding this cleaner, cooler air to your engine is a rotationally molded tube made from interlaced High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). This unique process results in a precisely shaped tube that reduces turbulence and increases airflow into the engine.
