The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup manufactured by Toyota. The Toyota Tundra was introduced in 2000, and is
widely considered to be the first full-size import-brand truck built with an American look and feel and a refined
V8 engine. The first generation Toyota Tundra was from 2000 to 2006. This generation Tundra was available with
three engine types: 3.4L V6, 4.0L V6, and the 4.7L V8. In 2003, the grille was updated and the Double Cab version
was added to the lineup in 2004.
The current generation Toyota Tundra is a much larger version than the previous generation. The new Toyota Tundra
has many enhancements, such as towing capacity, and a new 5.7L V8 engine mated to a new transmission. There are two
other engines available: 4.7L V8 and a 4.0L V6. The current Toyota Tundra it has three available cabs: Regular Cab,
new Double Cab, and the Crewmax.
