This fits tight, but another 12 inches would give full edge covering. As it is the bottom foot of the door edge is unprotected.

This is a excellent item to protect your door edges from taking the brunt of opening your doors in close quarters...and also the other persons car. Super easy to apply - took maybe 5 or less minutes to install..of course taking the time to even them out on same side doors. I ordered 2 separate sets one for 2012 Ram other for 2006 Mountaineer. This is a must have for any car/truck.
