The Nissan Titan was first introduced in 2004 as a full-size pickup truck. It is produced for the North American market by Nissan. The Nissan Titan shares the same stretched Nissan F-Alpha platform with the Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX56 SUVs. The Nissan Titan meant to be an alternative to the big 3 "Detroit Trucks". Nearly 25% of the Nissan Titan’s sales in the United States are in the south central part of the United States, which includes Texas.

The Nissan Titan features a 5.6L V8 engine, and is available in either rear wheel or four wheel drive. It is available as a Crew Cab or King Cab, but it is not available as a Regular Cab which has been criticized. The Nissan Titan comes in four basic trim levels: XE, SE, Pro-4X, and LE. The Nissan Titan has a combination of a roomy interior, strong towing capacity, aggressive styling, and innovative features.
