Add strength to your steering linkage with a heavy-duty tie rod from Rugged Ridge. This OE upgrade is constructed of 1-1/4" I.D. SAE 1018 steel that is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a wall thickness of 1/4". This is true DOM tubing with no seams or welds to bend or break. Each tube has a yield strength, the point at which a material exhibits a strain increase without increases in stress, of 53,000 lbs per square inch. This is the load at which the material has exceeded its elastic limit and becomes permanently deformed.

Each assembly is supplied with two heavy duty 7/8" rod ends that have standard tapered Jeep ends to fit stock knuckle applications. All rod ends come complete with dust shields, castle nuts, cotter pins, two lock nuts, and Zerk fittings supplied.
