This complete kit changes the factory y-link steering setup with a custom tie rod end that allows the tie rod to attach to both steering knuckles as opposed to the factory setup attaching to the steering knuckle on one end and the drag link on the other. The custom rod end includes a mounting point for drag link attachment so no modification of the steering knuckle is needed. The cross-over steering kit completely replaces the factory steering setup and features easy, bolt-on installation.

Each OE upgrade is constructed of 1-1/4" I.D. SAE 1018 steel that is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a wall thickness of 1/4". This is true DOM tubing with no seams or welds to bend or break. Each tube has a yield strength, the point at which a material exhibits a strain increase without an increase in stress, of 53,000 lbs per square inch. This is the load at which the material has exceeded its elastic limit and becomes permanently deformed.
