I could have bought the chrome plastic pillars but was concerned with wear and tear. So I decided to go with the Stainless Steel type and was pleasently surprised of the quality of the items. The dry fit was almost perfect I had to do a little trimming on the lower section of the weather stripping 1/64 to get one side to fit perfectly. This was a relatively minor task and took about a minute to fit. Now some advice - you must read the instructions because you only get one shot at fitting the piece once the adhesive backing is exposed. Take your time and dry fit mask off edges and create some guidelines and you should be fine. The four pillars and rear window corner trim took about an hour to install the key is taking your time.

The pillar post are beautiful and make my vehicle look great. The item fit perfectly and was not hard to install.
